Jag har länge varit sugen på att testa något av Benefits rouge i snygga papplådor, men har haft så svårt att bestämma mig för vilket att det aldrig liksom har blivit av. När jag däremot fick se Sugarbomb första gången var det kärlek från första ögonkastet, vilken pärla!

Sagt och gjort, jag skrev upp ett stycke sockerbomb på min lista jag gav till pappa innan han åkte till USA, och nu har jag det äntligen i min ägo. Och vilket rouge sen, ni som tycker om persikorosa rouge med lite lyster i kommer antagligen att älska Sugarbomb. Färgerna går även att använda var för sig, men jag tycker det blir som finast om man blandar dem med varandra =)

In English: I've wanted to try Benefit's blushes in gorgeous cardboard boxes for a while now, but I've had a hard time to decide which one so I never got to the point of ordering one. However, when I laid my eyes on Sugarbomb for the first time, it was love at first sight!

So, I added one sugarbomb to my wish list that I gave to my dad before he went to the US, and I finally have it in my collection. And what a blush, the ones of you who loves peachy pink blushes with a bit of glow will probably love Sugarbomb. The colours can be used separately, but I like it swirled together best =)

Jag känner att jag har fått rätt bra grepp om dom här produkterna efter bara ha swatchat dom, så jag tänkte dela med mig lite om vad jag tycker om dom. Mineralize-skuggorna gör sig bäst antingen applicerade blöta eller på en kladdig bas, som ett greasepaint stick eller en paintpot. På en torrare bas som UDPP fäster varken färg eller glitter. Det svarta läppglanset är väldigt svårt att få snyggt på egen hand, det ser onekligen bäst ut över ett läppstift eller en läppenna! Samma sak med det svarta läppstiftet, svarta läppar kräver lite jobb och en bra bas (jag gillar att använda en svart kajalpenna) för att det ska se bra ut. Läppensel är oumbärligt här! Mattene-läppstiften är otroligt mjuka och sköna på läpparna för att vara matta, och de är lätta att applicera. Rekommenderas! Greasepaint sticks är väldigt mycket mjukare och lättare att jobba med än shadesticks. De är lätta att sudda, men torkar snabbt till en hållbar och rätt torr finish. Lip Erase är verkligen kanon för oss med lite mer pigmenterade läppar som har svårt att bära vissa färger då den egna läppfärgen lyser igenom. Var noga med att peela och återfukta läpparna innan du applicerar lip erase. Ögonpennan Feline är den svartaste svarta jag någonsin har skådat, men den kladdar väldigt gärna. Den passar suveränt innanför inre fransraden! Och slutligen Dazzleglass creme. De är inte lika klistriga som vanliga dazzleglass, och mycket mer pigmenterade. Kanon med andra ord!

I thought I'd write shortly about my experience on these products aswell. The mineralize eyeshadows works best when applied wet, or on a sticky base like a greasepaint stick or a paint pot. Neither colour or glitter will stick on a drier base like UDPP. The black lipgloss is hard to get even on its own, you really need a lipstick or lip pencil as a base for this. The same thing goes with the black lipstick, black lips need a bit of work and a good base (I use a black eye pencil) to look good. A lip brush is really handy when applying this! The mattene lipsticks are really creamy and easy to apply even though they're matte. Highly recommended! Greasepaint sticks are creamier and easier to work with than shadesticks. They're easy to blend, but they dry into a durable and pretty dry finsih. Lip erase is great for us with more pigmented lips who have a hard time wearing some lipsticks due to the fact that the lip colour shines through. Don't forget to scrub and moisturize your lips first! The eye kohl Feline is the blackest pencil I've ever seen, allthough it has a tendency to smudge. I wear this on my waterline! And last but not least, the dazzleglass cremes. They're more pigmented and less sticky than the regular dazzleglasses, a real hit!

Girlie är en gammelrosa ögonskugga med lite lyster i. Den är i Satin-formulan, vilket gör att den ser matt ut från vissa vinklar och skimrig ut från andra. Perfekt för att ge lite djup till globlinjen med till en lätt och neutral ögonmakeup!

In English: Creme-idiot wanted to see a swatch of the eyeshadow Girlie from MAC.

Girlie is a dusty pink with a bit of glow. It's a Satin formula, which makes it look matte from some angles and shimmery from other angles. I'ts perfect to define the crease with when doing a light and neutral eye makeup!

Jag velade mycket fram och tillbaka om dom här fyra nyanserna verkligen inte liknade nåt jag hade sen innan, men kom fram till att jag inte har några riktiga dupes i min samling. Enda undantaget är pigmentet Push the edge som är en nästan identisk kopia på pigmentet Entremauve, men det det var ett medvetet dubbelköp eftersom jag älskar Entremauve men det är otroligt svårt att få tag på en hel burk av den lilla LE-juvelen. Jag har swatchat alla skuggor mot andra skuggor jag har i min samling som liknar dem, om det är någon annan som velar över samma sak =)

In English: I swatched all the new shadows while I was at it and taking pictures of them, including the Dame Edna palette =)

 

I had a hard time deciding if I didn't have dupes of these shadows already, but when I swatched them, I saw that they were unique in my collection. The only exception is the pigment Push the edge which is a very close dupe to Entremauve pigment, but that was on purpose since I love Entremauve and it's really hard to get ahold of a fullsize jar of this LE beauty. I compared all the shadows against similar ones in my collection above if there's someone else wondering about dupes. You can see the pictures above!

Alla färger i den här kollektionen är verkligen superfina och passar jättebra nu till sommaren. Finast är dom i solljus, tyvärr har det varit rätt molnigt här idag men jag gjorde så gott jag kunde med att fånga färgerna på bild =)

För att avsluta mina swatches på mina MAC-skuggor och pigment tänkte jag visa er de lösa glitter jag har som kommer från MAC. MACs lösa glitter kommer i tre olika varianter; reflects, crystalled och vanligt glitter. Reflects-glittret är det mest finmalda och känns därför lite som en blandning mellan ögonskugga och glitter. Själva glitterpartiklarna i det här glittret reflekterar ljuset från hela åtta olika vinklar vilket ger en riktig blingbling-effekt! Crystalled-glittret har mediumstora glitterpartiklar, och det vanliga glittret är det där glitterpartiklarna är som störst. Inget av MACs glitter är eye safe, kan tilläggas, så använd dessa runt ögonen på egen risk.
