MAC - A Tartan Tale collection: Chapter 1

Häromdagen tog vi en titt på del 1 ur MACs julkollektion A Tartan Tale. Del 2 heter Chapter 1 och består av paletter, ögonkit, läppkit, mineralizekit (kommer enbart säljas på Åhléns city i Stockholm) och borstset i sjukt, sjukt fina förpackningar. Paletterna har samma kvadratiska form som förra årets, och är prydda med skotsrutigt mönster och ett MAC-märke, och påsarna är som små miniväskor med handtag och läderdetaljer.

Åh, jag vill ha typ... allt =P Ögonskuggspaletterna som lockar mest är Dashing Lassie och Beauties play it cool, och kan tänka mig att lägga vantarna på läpp-påsen Vain & Glorious med. Jag har inte köpt något av borstkiten tidigare (de har kortare handtag än fullsize-borstarna och är maskingjorda; fullsizeborstarna är handgjorda) men nu blir jag riktigt sugen att slå till på ett på grund av de fina väskorna kiten kommer i... Plus att borstar med korta handtag är bra när man reser, så dom får plats i sminkväskan och man inte behöver ha en separat borstväska om man bara ska ha några få borstar med sig!



In English: We had a look at part 1 from the MAC holiday collection A Tartan Tale the other day - Part 2 is called Chapter 1 and consists of palettes, eye bags, lip bags, mineralize kits (Nordstrom exclusive) and brush kits in gorgeous packaging. The palettes are the same squre ones a last year's and are decorated with tartan pattern and a MAC crest, and the bags are like small mini bags with handles and leather details.

I want like... everything =P The eyeshadow palettes that tempt me the most is Dashing Lassie and Beauties play it cool, and the lip bag Vain & Glorious doesn't look to shabby either. I haven't got any of the previous brush kits earlier (they have shorter handles than the fullsize brushes and are machine made; the fullsize brushes are hand made) but I'm really tempted to get one for the gorgeous bags... Plus, brushes with short handles are great for travelling so that you can fit them into your makeupbag without having to carry a brush roll if you only want to bring a few brushes!

Alltså, eftersom jag inte har tillgång till en MAC Cosmetics i staden där jag bor så brukar jag inte bli så hypad över MAC kollektionerna... men jag måste erkänna att denna kollektion är en av 4 som jag verkligen önskar jag kunde få tag på :) Jag har många goda vänner i England så jag börjar tänka på dem då jag ser denna kollektion :)

Jag ser några saker som verkligen tilltalar mig :)

Två av dessa saker är Dashing Lassie Eyeshadow Palette och Vain & Glorious Lip Bag :)

Det ser ut som om jag förmodligen kommer behöva en fin liten langare till vintern blink blink

Måste nog också försöka få tag på ett av borstseten, väskorna är otroligt fina! Är lite kluven till paletterna precis som förra året och då blev det ingen....

Lina: visst är borstväskorna helt bedårande! Jag har den neutrala paletten från förra året, devil may dare, och är den neutrala jag är mest sugen på i år igen. Och den lila!

jag vill ha kit med borstarna. men det blir ju inte samma priset här i sverige som du skrev i us dollars eller hur? blir det dyrare? kan du säga ungefär priset på de kanske? tack=)

Marina: ja precis, de amerikanska priserna är lägre än de här i Sverige. Tyvärr har jag ingen exakt prisuppgift, därför står bara priserna i dollar - har jag en svensk prisuppgft skriver jag alltid ut det i inlägget =) jag har för mig att borstseten brukar kosta runt 500-600 kr nånting.

Aah, det fattar jag ju nu när jag läste igenom det lite långsammare ^^,

Gud, det blir ju bara bättre och bättre. Det här kan vara det snyggaste MAC har gjort i förpackningsväg sedan Royal Assets.
